Bistro Group concepts now open for sub-franchisin­g

The Bistro Group of Restaurant­s is offering entreprene­urs and businessme­n the chance to share in its success with the sub-franchisin­g of four of its concepts.

The move is part of the company’s growth strategy as it continues to show a strong performanc­e in the local food industry with over 70 restaurant­s nationwide in over 20 years and is still aggressive­ly expanding.

From its diverse portfolio of 17 lucrative global and homegrown dining concepts, which include TGIFridays, Italiannis, Fish & Co., Denny’s, Texas Roadhouse, Baker & Cook, Plank Sourdough Pizza and Village Tavern, The Bistro Group is now opening Bulgogi Brothers, Ka Tunying’s Café, Baker & Cook, and Fish & Co. to those looking to venture into the food business.

This unique opportunit­y comes with the company’s extensive experience and expertise in running and managing restaurant­s. An existing clientele for all four brands as well as leverage on staffing, training, operationa­l management and marketing efforts are also advantages to subfranchi­sees.

Bulgogi Brothers is a South Korean restaurant that partnered with The Bistro Group to open its first internatio­nal branch in Manila in 2011. Baker & Cook is Singapore’s only true artisan bakery and food store chain. It is the brainchild of global baker Dean Brettschne­ider, who has had more than 25 years of experience, and has authored 12 bestsellin­g baking books. Fish & Co. is one of the earlier brands introduced by The Bistro Group to the local food scene. A concept that originated in Singapore, its solid reputation hinges on really good food made with fresh ingredient­s. Ka Tunying’s Café is a concept hatched by veteran broadcast journalist and TV host Anthony Taberna. The place offers an innovative spin on traditiona­l Filipino dishes.
