Eagle Ridge’s Fore by Four draws full cast
The Fore by Four Invitational, Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club’s signature member-guest tournament, will be held Nov. 10-11 with more than 400 participants seeing action in Trece Martirez, Cavite.
The field will be classified into five divisions using the two-man teams’ lowest handicap index for the month of October. Those in Class A (handicaps 0-10.9) will play Dye & Norman; Class B (11-15.9) at Faldo & Aoki; Class C (16-21.9) at Norman & Dye; Class D (22 & up) and Ladies at Aoki & Faldo.
Those playing at Aoki and Norman will use the aggregate format while the best ball will be used at Dye and Faldo.
Meanwhile, the ERGCC hopes to provide a different kind of challenge after the country’s largest golf complex underwent renovation the last six months through the maintenance group WGC.
“What we want is to provide the best service for the club’s upkeep. The members and guests will be happy to experience the true roll of the course,” said WGC chairman Winnie Gob.
“The improvements done were not only to beautify the courses but also bring out the true challenge in each course is known for,” said general manager Boy Blue Ocampo.
The Fore by Four, sponsored by Ford Group, Kambal Pandesal, LK Golf and Rizgolf, will also stake two Toyota Wigo cars, one each for the winning member and his guest.
