AS the cornerstone of Philippine business and commerce, the commercial vehicle segment has risen considerably year-on-year. In the third quarter of 2017 alone, it’s gone up by 14.1 percent compared to the same period last year. It’s on this high note that Pioneer Truck Parts and Equipment Corporation showed off its sprawling facility in Cabuyao, Laguna.

“Pioneer Truck Parts and Equipment Corporation is a family-owned and operated import-based company that wholesales and retails US and European-made truck and trailer parts that caters to the domestic logistics and transport of commercial goods,” explains managing director Aaron Go.

The facility, covering some 8,000 square-meters is fully dedicated to truck repair and maintenance. The company carries truck and trailer parts from brands such as PNW Systems, JOST, Kenworth, and PACCAR. With trained mechanics on site, everything from windshield replacement, brake repair, and even engine overhaul or replacement can be done.

Additionally, with Pioneer being the exclusive distributor of AutoKontrol, a brand of speed limiters, they can also do the installation there as well.

“We have already installed our speed limiters to truck fleets of several logistics companies and even truck manufacturers such as Isuzu Philippines Corporation,” reveals Go. “Our objective is for all fleet owners to extend vehicle life, improve economy, reduce maintenance costs, and promote public commuter safety.”

Apart from truck and trailer parts, and speed limiter devices, Pioneer is also the importer of truck brands such as Kenworth, International, and Peterbilt. Soon, they’ll be adding DAF Trucks to their portfolio as well. This is evidenced by a portion of the facility reserved for DAF Trucks.

A division of Paccar, an American Fortune 500 company and among the world’s largest manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty trucks, DAF Trucks is a Dutch truck manufacturing company with headquarters and main plant located in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

“Pioneer Truck Parts and Equipment Corporation has been in the trucking business for almost a decade and has seen the industry’s growth through the years. The upward trend in the logistics industry is very encouraging and that’s why we will be here to provide for their needs,” concludes Go.

Pioneer Truck Parts and Equipment Corporation is located at 341 G. Araneta Avenue, Barangay Santol, Quezon City where they carry parts and accessories on display as well as a “test drive” of their speed limiter device.
