Cargo Movers gun for No. 3 in Super Liga

-

F2 Logistics seeks to extend its unbeaten run to three as it collides with Cocolife while Cignal HD and Iriga City clash in a duel of struggling teams in the Chooks-toGo Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan today.

The Cargo Movers stopped the three-game run of the Petron Blaze Spikers and toppled the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, making them the slight favorites in their 6 p.m. face-off with the Asset Managers.

But F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus has stressed the need for his reinforcements Kennedy Bryan of the US and former Olympian Maria Jose Perez of Venezuela to sustain their form as they take on the resurgent Asset Managers who are coming off back-to-back victories after dropping their first two matches.

“All teams want to win each game. But it all boils down to the condition of the imports. The locals are there to help in rotation, but once the reinforcements have an off-night, it will be hard to lift the team,” said De Jesus.

Meanwhile, Cocolife mentor Kungfu Reyes hopes to address his charges’ poor service reception in their four-set win over UST the last time out as they face the Cargo Movers.
