1 dead, 3 wounded in bingo shooting

An unidentified assailant shot at a group of people playing bingo in Tala, Caloocan City Friday afternoon, killing a woman and wounding three others.

Zenaida delos Santos, 48, died on the spot while her neighbors Michael Medalla, 20; Liza Payac Ollosa, 34; and a 13-year-old girl sustained gunshot wounds.

Medalla was chating with friends near a bingo session along Dahlia street in Barangay 187 when the assailant shot him in the stomach at around 2:30 p.m.

The assailant then shot at the people playing bingo, police said.

Police recovered three bullet casings and a deformed slug from a .45 caliber pistol.
