Is BiGuel Paolo’s lucky charm?

-

The BiGuel loveteam of Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix will have two breakthroughs in their careers this month.

They will headline GMA 7’s newest primetime series titled Kambal Karibal. They will also star in a fulllength film, Paolo Ballesteros’ Barbi: D’ Wonder Beki, which will be shown on Nov. 29.

BiGuel, dubbed by the press as the most durable loveteam from the Kapuso Network, brings a very millennial-ish

kilig to the movie directed by Tony Y. Reyes and co-produced by OctoArts Films, T-Rex Productions and M-Zet.

Will they be the lucky charms for Paolo’s first mainstream starrer?

Both have been quick to reply: “Hopefully. Sana nga!”

Since both have grown in maturity already — Miguel is 19 and Bianca is turning 18 — are they ready for a real kiss?

Miguel is more definite with his answers. But Bianca is understandably hesitant, she being a minor yet. She’s giving the final decision-making to her handlers at GMAAC.

Aside from Paolo, who is internationally and locally awarded for his Die

Beautiful indie film, Barbi features the original actor in title role, the master and versatile senior comic Joey de Leon. They are supported by big names in the industry, plus the new bombshell Kim Domingo with Ejay Falcon who has a new management.
