NAPPCO unveils plans for The Brilliance Center tower in BGC

-

Leading paper company Nation Paper Products & Printing Corporation (NAPPCO) unveiled plans for its first major property venture and signed an exclusive partnership with Santos Knight Frank (SKF) for The Brilliance Center, an office tower designed under the US Green Building Council LEED standards, soon-to-rise in upscale Bonifacio Global City.

Touted as the diamond building, The Brilliance Center will be a cut above the rest as it dominates the area of 11th Avenue and 40th Street, a prime location and very accessible area in BGC.

NAPPCO’s first major venture in the country’s property sector is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the booming trend. Likewise, this project will provide much needed leasable office space in BGC.

Tan TianSiong, NAPPCO chairman, highlighted how the company started as a “humble store” by a group of investors from Divisoria back in late 1950s. Today, the company is a major player in the country’s paper industry. Tan called their newest venture a “very humble project,” and is positive it will be a driving force in the property market today.

“The Brilliance Center is a very humble project that will add to the booming economic development of our beloved country,” Tan emphasized.

Daniel Go, principal architect of ADGO and lead architect of The Brilliance Center, highlighted the impressive design, sustainability and energyefficiency of the new office building.

“The design concept that our team envisioned for this project is a jewel, a diamond. The most dominant element in the façade is the intersecting diagonal lines. These lines connote interconnection, stability and clarity,” architect Go said. “These are three essential components of any business relationship. It also embodies the brilliance of NAPPCO as the leading supplier of paper products for office, school, and printing in the country today.”

He also noted that more than a profitable investment, The Brilliance Center will be an “iconic building” that will embody the success and achievement of NAPPCO in the business community.

The 16-storey tower will add about 4,800 sqm. of office space and 600 sqm. of leasable retail area. The LEED design features insulated glass units to lower energy consumption, highly efficient air conditioning system, regenerating elevator and water harvesting system to recycle and conserve water consumption.

Rick Santos, SKF chairman and CEO, applauded NAPPCO for its aggressive and timely decision to invest in the fastest growing masterplanned business district in Southeast Asia. “Mr. Tan and his team at NAPPCO could not have chosen a better time to add their landmark and build The Brilliance Center,” Santos said. “When it opens in 2019, The Brilliance Center will stand as a gem in Manila’s fastest raising central business district.”

In BGC, office space lease rate averages P975 per sqm. per month for prime office space as of Q2 2017. New commercial ground floor lease rates are estimated at be around P2,800 per sqm. per month.

With SKF’s 24 years of solid track record as a world-class property advisor and over 1,200 associates across the country, The Brilliance Center will be a much-coveted business address in BGC attracting both local and foreign investors.
