Stars lead Manulife’s ‘Thank You’ campaign
As it culminates its 110th anniversary celebration, Manulife Philippines launched a campaign to express gratitude and give back to its customers. The campaign will see Manulife giving gifts to 110 loyal policyholders.
“Since we issued our first policy in the Philippines in 1907, Manulife has protected thousands of Filipino lives with our innovative financial solutions,” said the company’s president and CEO Ryan Charland. “Through this campaign, we show our gratitude to our loyal customers’ enduring trust and strengthen our commitment to continue helping them achieve their dreams and aspirations.”
The campaign was kicked off by brand ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, Richard Yap and James Reid creating special moments with some Manulife customers.
Sarah surprised Ronald, a businessman with an advocacy of promoting literacy by building container van libraries across the country.
“I was inspired by Ronald who has made it his mission to give back to those in need. It is an honor to be given the opportunity to let him know how much his efforts are appreciated,” said Sarah.
Meanwhile, James delivered a gift to Melanie and Richard, a couple who never had a chance to go on a honeymoon because they had to prioritize medical treatments for their firstborn.
“There is no greater love than a parent’s, and this is why I find Manulife’s gift for Melanie and Richard specially meaningful. It recognizes the great sacrifices parents make for their children,” shared James.
Richard presented a gift to the Camillan Sisters of Marikina, who run a school for children with special needs. He also surprised Mr. de Dios, an 88-year-old policyholder, who has been a client since the ‘70s and ensured that his children are protected with Manulife policies as well.
“Being a father, I empathize with the Camillan Sisters’ desire to create a nurturing environment for the children under their care,” said Richard. “I also see myself in Mr. De Dios, who spent his whole life ensuring his children will have secure futures. I am happy to have been invited to take part in this giving activity by Manulife.”
Manulife Philippines will bring more gifts to policyholders in the coming days, until it has delivered 110 Thank Yous.
