Following their historic back-to-back championships in the PBA Governors’ Cup, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings will be holding a thanksgiving party for their diehard fans today at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.

Admission to the thanksgiving party is for free but on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates will open at 11 a.m.

To ensure crowd safety, the company discourages pregnant women, elderly, persons with disability from attending. Children below 12 years old, on the other hand, will be admitted if accompanied by parents or legal guardians.

“This is going to be our second celebration and this one is for our fans. This is our way of giving back to them. They’re the ones who bring life to our team and we’re not going to be here right now if not for them,” said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone.

“Everyone knows that we have the best fans in the league and we want to do everything we can to make them happy. The team and I are looking forward to spending time with everyone,” said Mark Caguioa.

During a recent victory party at San Miguel Corporation (SMC) headquarters in Mandaluyong City, SMC president and COO Ramon Ang also acknowledged the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel fans for their continued support to the team.

“Salamat sa lahat ng fans. Kayo ang patuloy na nag-i-inspire sa team. Kundi dahil sa inyo, wala po tayo dito ngayon,” he said.
