Tong Yang Plus opens in SM Davao, SM Mall of Asia

Tong Yang Plus, the newest buffet restaurant, recently opened in SM Davao and at Level 1, North Wing, Entertainm­ent Mall, SM Mall of Asia. Run by Pacific Apex, Inc., the same group that owns and manages Vikings Luxury Buffet, Four Seasons Buffet, Tong Yang Hot Pot and Shabu-Shabu, and Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club, it is touted as the ultimate hotpot and grill experience in terms of selection and variety. Tong Yang Plus lets diners select from its wider buffet spread and bring these to their table, where they can have them either grilled or cooked hotpot style. The selection is presented market-style. Choices range from pork, beef and chicken, including imported US beef, pork neck and belly, to fresh gindara, blue marlin, salmon belly, shrimps, crabs, clams, lapu-lapu fillet, tuna belly, and spicy squid, among others. Make your own hotpot starting with a soup base available in chicken, sinigang, spicy sate, vegetarian,

kimchi and Taiwan Mala. Grill with the Korean barbecue grill or the Tong Yang Hot and Charcoal grill. You can also create your own flavor with Tong Yang Plus’ assorted condiments ranging from sweet and savory to salty and spicy. You can also ask Tong Yang Plus’ waiters and they will be more than happy to do it for you. Appetizers include sushi, sashimi and maki, as well as dim sum and dumplings. Leave some room for fresh fruits, cakes, pastries and other sweet treats. There’s also an ice cream and halo-halo station and unlimited drinks station.
