With its goal of offering Filipinos world-class entertainm­ent, GMA Entertainm­ent Content Group showcases its forthcomin­g programs for the first quarter of 2018.

First on the list is the sexy, romantic-comedy series The One That Got Away headlined by Lovi Poe, Max Collins and Rhian Ramos. Dennis Trillo plays Liam, the ex-boyfriend of the three women. Joining them are Ivan Dorschner, Migo Adecer and Jason Abalos. This is an extraordin­ary story about three women who formed an unlikely but strong friendship after discoverin­g that in different times in their lives, they were romantical­ly linked with the same guy. Also in the cast are Bembol Roco, Snooky Serna, Luz Valdez, Ayra Mariano, Ashley Rivera, Sophie Albert, Jason Francisco, Ervic Vijandre, Nar Cabico, Dea Formilleza, Euwenn Aleta, among others. The One That Got Away is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes and Mark De La Cruz.

Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia reunite in the original primetime series

Sherlock Jr. Janine Gutierrez joins the cast in a special role. Viewers of all ages will enjoy this program filled with action and drama about the friendship between an investigat­ive reporter and a dog. The series introduces Serena, a lovable and smart Golden Retriever who will touch everyone’s lives and will teach them a lesson about love, life, family and friendship. Three Afternoon Prime series are set to premiere, namely Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, The Stepdaught­ers and Contessa. Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan

Ka is topbilled by Yasmien Kurdi, Martin del Rosario, Jackie Rice, and Mike Tan. This intriguing series tells about the struggles of a woman who is HIV positive and how she battles her own frailties and demons in life. This is also the first “advoca

serye” which tackles one of the most serious, deadly diseases in human history. Joining the cast are Shamaine Buencamino, Charee Pineda, Ina Feleo, Mike “Pekto” Nacua, Catherine Rem, Caprice Cayetano, Sef dela Cruz and Gina Alajar. Neal del Rosario directs.

The Stepdaught­ers stars real-life sweetheart­s Megan Young and Mikael Daez. Katrina Halili joins the cast together with Glydel Mercado, Sef Cadayona, Samantha Lopez and Gary Estrada. The soap revolves around the story of Mayumi and Isabelle, two strong-willed women who will do everything for family, honor and love. Paul Sta Ana directs.

Contessa stars Glaiza de Castro as a woman who quests for justice after being accused of a crime she did not commit. Playing important roles are Jak Roberto, Geoff Eigenmann and Gabby Eigenmann. Completing the all-star cast are Lauren Young, Dominic Roco, Leandro Baldemor, Bernadette Allyson, Phytos Ramirez, Denise Barbacena, Will Ashely and Tetchie Agbayani with special participat­ion of Mark Herras. Albert Langitan directs.
