The first major video game tournament of Dota, Defense of
the Ancients, for the fresh year from Jan. 19 to 21 at the 60,000 full house capacity Philippine Arena in Bulacan, the world’s largest indoor arena.
Global beauty titlist Megan Young, one of the country’s best-known Dota players, may participate for a chance to share in a $1M (roughly P50M) prize pot, and be recognized as a Valve Major (gathering 1,500 International 2018 qualifying points).
Divided into three parts, The Galaxy Battles Esports Arena, Galaxy Battles Dota 2 World and Galaxy Entertainment Arena will be a totally fresh experience. The remarkable Philippine Arena will be cleared and converted into an intense and compelling Dota 2-activities central to contain theme-like events, food and drinks zones, comfort areas, sponsor’s booths and similar amenities.
And it doesn’t stop there. There will also be a sound-andsong hype at the open-air stadium parallel to the Philippine Arena, where local, regional and international artists will blast anthems, greatest hits and new chatbusters.

Sixteen global teams will break at one of the 11 main actions authorized by Valve. Another six slots will be at stake via regional invitational qualifiers and the open qualifiers played throughout the six regions. The two residual slots will be disputed by wild card winners.
