Phinma Properties and Giant Phl: Changing the game in condo living

-

A new partnership between Phinma Property Holdings Corp. and Giant Philippines is seen as a game changer in terms of innovative condo living in the country.

Phinma Properties, the property development arm of the Phinma business conglomerate, and Giant Philippines, one of the leading transportation companies in the country, have taken steps to improve condo living amid the heightened demand for convenience and alternative ways to travel, as the Philippines has long been plagued by unforgiving traffic even in booming business districts.

At the heart of this partnership is the Las Piñas Condominium project located in a development that has a commercial complex as well as a 24-hour point-to-point (P2P) bus service. While the P2P bus service has been around for quite some time as a burgeoning attempt to help ease the number of private cars on the road, this will be the first time it will be connected directly to a residential project.

This transportation innovation in the residential industry will be the first of its kind as it connects residents from Las Piñas to key central business districts in the metro.

With Phinma Properties’ experience in residential development and Giant Philippines’ transportation expertise, Giant Philippines director Renato Claros said he sees the inno- vative P2P bus service of the Las Piñas Condominium development as the best of both worlds. The project addresses the worsening traffic plight of Metro Manila and provides residents with a taste of luxury condominium living.

Phinma Properties vice president for Urban Housing Division Raphael Felix said since Giant manufactures buses and runs a bus service company, “what (Claros) has done with this particular project is that he has put a transport hub and P2P bus service with a commercial center that he already built. It is already up. We will put in the residential component so our home buyers will enjoy the big advantages of the location.”
