Aspiring singers prove selves in Museum show

Four young aspiring singers showcased their singing prowess and performed for a jam-packed crowd during the Young at Heart Concert, featuring Moira Lacambra, Janina Gonzales, Chad Angeles, Brandon Chan at the Music Museum in November last year.

Young At Heart Concert, presented by a group of concert producers headed by Jessie Chua, was a collaborat­ion of the four singers and other guest performers who performed mostly OPM classics and other revival hits.

Chad is known for his impeccable voice quality having performed in the concerts of Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid and Martin Nievera. He has a collaborat­ion performanc­e with David Pomeranz in his hit Got To Belive in Magic.

Moira is the niece of Joey Ayala. She has done front acts in the concerts of artists like Jaya and Ronnie Liang. Moira has done concert gigs with Daryl Ong and Freestyle. She is promoting her current single, First Date, under digital release by Ivory Music Philippine­s. At a young age, she already received awards such as Asian Excellence Award 2014, Gawad Sulo ng Bayan 2015 and Gawad Sulo ng Bayan Awards 2017.

Janina has interest in making covers of songs popularize­d by male singers. She was mentored by Roselle Nava and Susana Pichay and became a scholar of the Music School of Ryan Cayabyab and was personally mentored by Ryan Cayabyab and wife Emmy.

Brandon is considered as the crème dela crème of his batch at the World Championsh­ips of Performing Arts las in Los Angeles, California last 2015. He joined the Star Magic acting workshops last year and sees himself to be a future actor as well.

Guest performers were Liviana Gonzales, Eden Dumlao, Daren Dyhengco and the Burados family.
