IWCPI holds 52nd national conference
Members of the Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines Inc. (IWCPI) will tackle business matters as well as enjoy fellowship during its 52nd national conference to be held at the Manila Hotel on Feb. 23-24.
National president Gloria Golez and national conference chairman Malen Ang announced that there will be exhibits, annual reports, election, exciting Broadway talent night, and a grand raffle.
Inner Wheel Philippines is a member of the Inner Wheel International, one of the largest women’s service voluntary organizations in the world, which is active in over 100 countries, with 100,000 members in 3,895 clubs in 104 countries. Inner Wheel clubs, districts, and countries work for charities and causes to give people “happier futures and better lives.”
A dynamic organization of committed women bound by friendship and dedicated to selfless service to humanity, Inner Wheel Philippines counts nine districts with a total 82 clubs and 1,414 members throughout the country.
The organization starts each year with the most anticipated national conference to review the past year’s accomplishments and map out directions for the new year both at the national and the district levels.
For the opening ceremonies of the 52nd National Conference, Inner Wheel Philippines invited President Rodrigo Duterte to deliver the keynote speech.
Dr. Kapila Gupta, Inner Wheel International president, will grace the occasion. A medical doctor by profession, Gupta serves as director-consultant at the D. O.P, Gupta Memorial Diagnostic Center in Rohtak City, in Haryana, India.
Joining Inner Wheel in 1991, she has served all posts at club level and has received many awards as Best President.
