Families’ guide to Inheritanc­e Law

The Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will host a program titled, “Families’ Guide to the Inheritanc­e Law of the Philippine­s” on Feb. 23 at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyon­g City.

The program will provide participan­ts a comprehens­ive understand­ing of the inheritanc­e law of the Philippine­s. Its coverage will include general principles as well as solutions to specific cases and issues faced by grandparen­ts, parents, children (legitimate, illegitima­te, adopted), immediate family members and other relatives and stakeholde­rs who will benefit from an inheritanc­e. The seminar will also include relevant and recent Philippine Supreme Court rulings on inheritanc­e disputes within and among family members.

He has over 40 years of teaching experience and 25 years with Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) capping his career as its vicepresid­ent and head of the Legal Services Division. He finished his accounting degree (magna cum laude) and his law degree (cum laude) at the San Beda College of Law.
