Spalding is all set to start its summer basketball camps in various venues.

The first camp starts April 3, 8-10 a.m., at the Dominican School Manila, in front of UST Lacson gate.

On April 4, a second camp starts at Sta. Lucia Mall Penthouse gym at 1 p.m. for beginners and 3 p.m. for intermediate and advance groups.

Other camps will start one after another, on different dates and hours of the day, in other venues – Divine Light Academy in Las Piñas, Gatorade Hoops Center on Shaw Blvd, Lotus Mall Gym in Imus, Cavite, Strike Gymnasium in Bacoor, Binangonan Recreation and Conference Center, Marikina Sports Center, Sure Shot Sportsville on J. Abad Santos, and JEM-7 covered courts in Quezon City. Other camps to open in May are the GCourt on Pioneer St. and Food by the Courts in Pasay.

Spalding recently introduced a line of basketball training aids that will be incorporated in the eight-day camps. Among these are lateral resistors, shot deflectors, jump strength contraptions, Spalding flexible dribbling goggles and Smart shot gadgets to tell the player if his elbow shooting position is correct.

Aside from its 5-star modules and lineup of basketball trainers, the Spalding camp has been known to provide the kids with excellent freebies, like Spalding basketballs, Spalding reversible jerseys, Spalding sports bags, Spalding mini towels and dribbling gloves upon registration.

The biggest come on is the affordable joining fee, unmatched by any other basketball school or clinic. Basketball superstars that have trained with Spalding when they started their basketball journey are Ray Parks, the Rivero brothers Prince and Ricci, and other varsity players in the UAAP and NCAA.
