The Skills Contest is the highest level of competition for technicians, sales consultants and service advisors from Chevrolet dealerships across Southeast Asia. It was first introduced at the national level in 2012 and is now in its fifth regional edition.

All 26 participants to the Regional Skills Contest have been identified as top performers in their respective countries.

Contestants are put through a series of challenges that test their product knowledge, their ability to provide solutions, their sales and aftersales skills and their technical ability.

The sales and service assessment methodology features multiple stations covering webbased knowledge tests, product demonstrations and situationbased real-life scenarios like vehicle delivery to customers.

The assessment for technicians also features multiple stations covering web-based tests, on vehicle diagnosis, and on testing and measurement procedures on various electrical and mechanical stations. For the vehicle diagnosis section, technicians work on the Chevrolet Colorado and Trailblazer which are all sold across Southeast Asia.

I hope this award will inspire and motivate everyone at Chevrolet Philippines so that we deliver the best experience possible for our customers.”
