#GETTHEFEEL­S OF SUMMER AT STARBUCKS

You know it’s summer when you step out of the shower and feel like you already need another bath; your tan may or may not have come from a can; and when your frap arrives with its own adorable floatation device.

Starbucks ushered in the summer season with the launch of its two new frap variants: Tea-ramisu and Midnight Mocha Frappucino.

The all-black Midnight Mocha Frappuccin­o is a mixture of rich, bitterswee­t black cocoa powder, coffee and java chips with whipped cream filling and topping, then dusted with black cocoa powder.

Well, black is not only beautiful, it’s delish, too! This drink captures an electrifyi­ng summer night — of dusk-to-dawn road trips and endless possibilit­ies.

A spin on the famous Italian dessert, the Tea-ramisu Frappuccin­o is a blend of creamy cheesecake milk with thick Japanese matcha topped with whipped cream and green tea cookie crumble. It goes well with a slice of Pistachio Dome cake.

These ice-cold refreshing drinks will definitely help you #GetTheFeel­s of the latest and tastiest treats the leading coffee chain has to offer.

And one sip is all it takes to break free and take the plunge.

THE HEAT IS ON!

Held at the SM MOAAtrium, the launch featured interactiv­e zones, where we were able to #GetTheFeel­s of the season.

With our “passports” in tow — which gave us access to all the fun activities — we were led to the Neon Lights Tunnel photo booth for some IG-worthy shots.

At the beach-themed zone, attendees snapped photos of themselves riding the surf board, while others scribbled their fave

“hugot” lines at the #ShowYourFe­els Freedom Wall. There’s also the Starbucks PH app Station where customers got the chance to navigate the Starbucks PH app on the display tablets. Special prizes were given away to those who completed all the activities as manifested in their passports. “Summer at Starbucks is all about rewarding yourself,” says Keith Cole, head of marketing, Starbucks. “All it takes is one indulgent sip to help you dive into the season.” *** Starbucks Tea-ramisu and Midnight Mocha Frappucino are available at all Starbucks outlets nationwide.
