FPPF to conduct photo courses, NC II training seminars
The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) is behind the growth of photography in the country.
It boasts of master photographers who unselfishly share their expertise and experiences to participants in seminars held at the historic Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila.
It offers basic photography course for beginners and special courses for professional photographers who want to learn more and be more competitive.
The FPPF mentors with years of experience are also college professors who teach photography in schools, companies and government agencies.
Several of them have completed the competency requirements under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Pablo Beltran, FPPF president, said photographers who want to become assessors must pass the NC II examinations. He said passing the NC II exams is a passport for a successful career in photography.
Beside photography seminars FPPF is conducting workshop for NC II trainees in photography in three days practicum.
The modules are packaged for corporations.
The five-day weekday starts on May 28; five-Saturday basic seminar starts on May 12; advanced course on June 9, 10, 16, and 17; Wedding photography on May 26-27; two-Sunday basic videography on June 17 & 24, while Strobist Photography on June 23.
