15 SECONDS TO DELICIOUS SUMMER SKIN

- By MARBBIE TAGABUCBA

Can you believe it’s been 25 years since The Body Shop came out with their body butters? The creamy, deeply moisturizing formula, released at a time in a market dominated by creams and lotions, has been making the post-shower routine of bringing moisture back into the skin more indulgent, the necessary skincare step feel luxurious.

Just in time for our 35-degrees-but-feels-like-42-degrees weather, the British cruelty-free skincare company releases an iteration delectably named body yogurt.

One hundred percent vegan, some variants are enriched with the Community Trade organic ingredients it is named after. Almond milk from Spain is in Almond Milk as well as in the other variants. It is combined with moringa extract from Rwanda for Moringa, roses from Britain, and a limited edition newcomer, Banana, which contains banana puree from Ecuador.

Jelly-like and jiggly in the tub, on the skin it’s a lightweight gel-cream that melts upon contact and is absorbed by damp skin in 15 seconds tops with the promise to keep skin soft and supple for 48 hours. The Body Shop recommends patting it on straight after a shower. Now available at The Body Shop stores. Visit @thebodyshopph for updates.
