If rebounding from a marriage breakup requires undertaking something new and grand, then celebrity host and dance expert Regine Tolentino is sending that point with aplomb.

The fitness diva is staging her first dance concert dubbed Ignite at Sky Dome, North Edsa in Quezon City, on May 26, 8 p.m. It is a spectacle that comes following the release of her first album recording aptly titled Moving To The

Music and put out through Viva Records. She has been recovering from a fallen marriage the past four years and to some extent a number of bashers who may just be envious of her goddess-like shape anyway.

“Watch this bitc#*%! It’s for you,” she exclaimed in a playful tone, addressing body shamers out there in general.

The cheerfully fit beauty is more than staging a concert to celebrate her 23 long years in showbiz. She is in a loud way trying to rally women insecure about their body contours or mistreated by men in some way.

She stated, “Women of all shapes are invited to my show. Let’s set the dance floor on fire!”

Apart from being a living testament to keeping in shape and hot-looking, Regine has been battling personal woes arising from her tumultuous breakup with long-time husband Lander Vera Perez. They went through 18 years of marriage before calling it quits.

Chatting with the entertainment press, she casually pointed out that she rarely communicates with Lander and is happily living the life of a single parent. She said, “My kids are mine and I provide for them 100 percent. We texted four times in four years and we are happy na kami

lang, travelling together and seeing the world.” She related, “Let’s face it. Pinoys are quick to judge. They would ask you bakit ang taba

mo o bakit ka hiwalay sa asawa. To me, it’s really gathering together and addressing bashers by showing them what you really got.”

Several celebrities are appearing as guests in Regine’s concert in support of her positive ideals on women empowerment. The list includes Patricia Javier, Sheryl Cruz, Andrea del Rosario, Ynez Veneracion and Sheng Belmonte.

Ignite: Regine Tolentino In Concert is presented by Flanax, RT Studios, Regine’s Boutique and 4.0 Events Management, with choreography by Egai Bautista of Speed Dancers and support from Viva Artist Agency, Organique Açai Berry, Bonamine Philippines, Anlene Move Philippines, YSA Skin and Body Experts, and SR Foods Philippines. Her repertoire will contain covers from her major diva influences like Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, along with her own dance tracks like Bounce. This year, she released a digital single Diva’s

In Me that mentions those international divas. It is included in a CD package of her 2017 album. Tracks from her album are instant statements from their very titles: Supergirl, Fearless, With A Single Step.

Ignite director David Fabros told The STAR, “This is a first for Regine. It’s hard enough to sing alone, yet she does it while dancing. It’s going to be a revelation of her being a superb package of a talent.” (For ticket inquiries, call 0917-9795399 or e-mail 4.0eventsmanagement@gmail.com.)
