ESCAPE TO TAGAYTAY FOR A DAY AT THE ART INFUSION FAIR
On June 2, Anya Resort Tagaytay is holding its inaugural Art Infusion Fair, an event celebrating Filipino craftsmanship in all its forms. Just an hour’s drive from Manila, the boutique resort plays host to a day filled with locally made fashion, accessories, food, and activities for the whole family.
Celebrate the different forms of art expressed in dance, music, fashion, craft and cuisine through carefully planned activities to fit everyone’s interests. Acquaint yourself with essential oils through a talk on a clean and safe home by Geri Gil and Marilen Elizalde at the Borderless Library. Enjoy a beer-crafting session with Ian Paradies of Engkanto Beer at Amra Deli, along with the beat of drums and percussion of the Hernandez Brothers.
Your kids will be busy as Steps Studio hosts a street dance workshop at the Elite Club Gym. Join them right after at Anila to make your own pizzas together for Art in Pizzas. In the evening, bring them along and head over to Tala Garden for a special film screening under the stars and barbecue grilling night.
The Nilaya Ballroom will be the centerpiece of the fair: the whole-day trunk show featuring 20 merchants’ fine creations. With brands offering everything from apparel and accessories, to home decor and food items, you are sure to find something that’s perfect for you. What’s more is that 10 percent of the proceeds of all merchants will be donated to the Roxas Foundation in order to help empower communities through skills and technology training. Among the exhibitors are: 365 EO, Association of Women Organic Farmers, Azala PH, Chill by Nooks, Cora and Bear, El Marikino Noble, Elinora PH, Elms Accessoria de Casa, Good Luck Humans, Hello Flour, Invitation House, Junk Not!, Manika Pomade, Melograno by Ruby Roa, Modern East, Noble by Xeno, Oliver and Maude, Silk Cocoon, Tali Handmade Bags, Wear Anika and Yogi Brunch.
