Jia will be scaling Turner’s Kids and Entertainment business in the Philippines, which includes leading advertising sales, developing local content opportunities, creating greater consumer experiences and expanding the brands’ fan base. She will also operate in tandem with the consumer products and licensing team for Cartoon Network.

In addition, she will be responsible for the channel distribution of Turner brands locally, including CNN International, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Warner TV.

“Jia has worked in a number of brand management and business development roles, and she will be an excellent leader for our highlyambitious team in Manila. The Philippines is one of our most important markets in Southeast Asia and, with Jia now in place, we are confident of continued growth there,” said Vishal Dembla, GM of Turner’s business in Southeast Asia.

Jia joins Turner with 10 years of FMCG experience. She worked on the beauty and hair care products portfolio to launch and grow brands such as Olay, Rejoice and Safeguard at Procter & Gamble. She has worked on various aspects of organizational development — serving as a corporate trainer and as a regular external resource for marketing-related topics and being a mentor to many young talents. Jia was also a part-time marketing professor at her alma mater, Ateneo de Manila University.
