There isn’t a hard and fast way to be a mom, and labels just don’t cut it. There are moms who breastfeed, moms who bottle feed; moms who co-sleep, moms who have a baby monitor in their nurseries; all-organic moms, fast-food moms; moms who say no to gadgets, moms who depend on the iPad or phone for their sanity; moms who work, moms who stay at home; moms who have nannies, and moms who can multi-task and do everything on her own; moms who drive their kids to school, moms who drive them; the Instagram mom, the keep kids-out-of social media mom; moms who get away for Me Time, moms who like bringing the kids along; single moms who date, and single moms who want to focus on their kids for now, and all the moms who fall under these categories one time or another. No matter what the heart of modern motherhood is being able to do what you think is best for your family and for you. So, here’s to the modern moms who are perfectly imperfect who are just doing their best in this world.
