The rainy season is just around the corner, and iconic French outdoor lifestyle brand Aigle has got us covered.
Master rubber craftsman Aigle has a fresh new take on the iconic look that the brand was built upon. This season, it’s all about being rebellious with their latest style called the Macadames.
“Aigle is always coming up with new styles that embody the classic Aigle spirit of freedom, adventure, excitement and Frenchness, and the Macadames is the perfect addition to the current Aigle lineup with its edgier, more rugged look,” says Aigle Philippines brand associate Danica Ignacio.
A new design and new look for Aigle’s rubber boots, the Macadames combine a little bit of Parisian elegance and a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll. Described as “The Wild Boots,” these puppies go beyond the traditional rain boots with their double straps and matte metal buckles. They’re the perfect accessory for urbanminded women in the Philippines who want a certain je ne sais quoi that takes the world by storm.
Styled after leather boots, Macadames are boldly urban with elegant and rock-inspired details. Each style has a discrete notched sole, patterned welt, outer reinforcements and detachable ankle straps to vary the look.
The French brand is known for their handmade rubber boots since 1853. As of late, 4,000 pairs of boots are produced daily at their production plant in Châtellerault, France, the Macadames included. The rubber boots are built to last, as each pair undergoes rigorous testing for waterproofness, abrasion, grip, and wear-and-tear. Each pair is made from 100 percent rubber and handcrafted by artisans who have mastered all 60 grueling steps of boot manufacturing.
