Realty planning, dev’t, environment course opens
The Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations Inc. (CREBA), in consortium with the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde School of Professional and Continuing Education (DLS-CSB SPACE), will open its certificate course, “Real estate planning, development and environmental concerns,” on June 23.
The course is the third of five modules under the Executive Program in Real Estate Management (EPREM) which has been offered by the two leading institutions since 2002.
Classes will be held at the ninth floor of the CSB School of Design and Arts Campus located at Pablo Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila from 1 to 8:30 p.m. and will run for four consecutive Saturdays until July 14.
The joint CREBA-De La Salle program is the first of its kind in the country covering the entire gamut of the highly-complex and multi-disciplinary field of real estate development and management.
The four-week course covers the following topics: Types of property development; DENR: ECC, EIS, EIA, EGGAR in real estate development; Water supply and sanitation and solid waste management; Climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction for real estate projects; Administration, control and technical aspect of the construction process; Green technology and sustainable development for housing; industrial estates and ecozones; Residential subdivisions: HRB, MRB, Townhouses and subdivisions; Farm and leisure estates; Columbarium and memorial parks; Housing in smart cities; and Commercial developments: Malls, BPOs and mixed-use projects.
