OTON, Iloilo – During his trip to Iloilo the other day, President Duterte officially inaugurated the newest mall in the region, Vista Mall Iloilo.

The mall, located in the 500-hectare Vista Land Communicity Savannah in Oton, Iloilo, is the 23rd mall of one of the country’s leading integrated developers and largest homebuilder, Vista Land.

The company has been following a rapid expansion program geared toward increasing its commercial leasing portfolio, with the most recent openings of its malls and retail concept stores in Iloilo and in Naga, Camarines Sur all within the month.

Vista Mall Iloilo is currently in its first phase of development with a total gross floor area of approximately 28,000 square meters.

“Vista Mall Iloilo is a realization of our goal of transforming our existing residential communities into masterplanned developments,” said Vista Land chairman Manuel Villar Jr. “This also triggers our mall expansion outside the Greater Manila area. We have residential projects in 47 provinces across 141 cities and municipalities around the country and opening malls in most, if not all, of those areas would be Vista Land’s contribution to building our nation.”

Vista Mall Iloilo is home to a number of homegrown retail concepts designed to compete with multinational chains both here and abroad.

AllHome Iloilo, a sprawling one-stop depot for construction and home decoration needs, now has 18 branches all over the country.

All Day Supermarket, a new supermarket concept with 12 branches country-wide, brings together the conveniences of modern groceries with innovative products and services such as Paluto, where customers can pick out fresh produce and have it cooked for them while they shop.

The mall is also home to Coffee Project. Now with 27 stores, the popular photo-worthy coffee shop chain is known for its quirky interiors, extensive food and beverage menu and workfriendly spaces.

The mall is also set to open four new world-class cinemas, including an MX4D and a Dolby Atmos Cinema, under its Vista Cinemas brand, as well as a number of other retail and dining concepts, before the end of the year.

Vista Mall Iloilo is owned and operated by Vista Land, a company that has served the needs of Filipinos for over 40 years, with communities built in over 140 cities and municipalities all over the country.
