PNP, Metrobank strengthen partnership
The police chief of Cebu City, who bagged the 2017 Outstanding Filipinos - Police Award, inspired his colleagues to engage the community and the public in the anti-illegal drug war.
Cebu City Police Office director, Senior Supt. Joel Doria spearheaded the ‘Oplan Pokemon,’ which made significant accomplishments in the government anti-illegal drug campaign and criminality campaign.
Doria, the 2017 Outstanding Filipinos - Police Awardee and his flagship campaign against drug menace has been featured on “i-Witness” Documentary Program, gave a lecture yesterday on how the Cebu City Police succeeded in the anti-drug drive.
The Philippine National Police and Metrobank Foundation Inc. are strengthening their partnership through the Metrobank Foundation Fellowship in Public Service at the Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame in Quezon City.
The Metrobank Foundation Fellowship in Public Service has been established as part of the enhancements of the redesigned Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos.
In addition, the fellowship aims to provide an avenue to the 2017 awardees to share their best practices and help propagate the values of outstanding Filipinos.
Meanwhile, the search for 2018 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos – Award For Police Officers has been launched last Jan. 30 to recognize the valuable and exemplary performance of men and women of the PNP.
