Farmer kills kids, commits suicide

SOUTH COTABATO – A farmer allegedly killed his two children before committing suicide at their house in Barangay Dumadalig, Tantangan town in this province on Tuesday night.

Willy Enalbas, 30, stabbed to death his children, both of preschool age, before he hanged himself, according to a report received by Superintendent Aldrin Gonzalez, Socckskargen police director.

A sister of Enalbas told reporters that prior to the incident, her brother was seen drinking liquor outside his house.

Enalbas had reportedly been uneasy in the past several days after his wife left for Manila in preparation for her trip to Saudi Arabia to work as a domestic helper.

Police said Enalbas’ four other children are staying with his mother in a nearby barangay.
