Duterte appoints former Lanao gov as NCMF head
President Duterte has appointed a former governor and Bedan as chief of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
Saidamen Pangarungan, a former governor of Lanao del Sur, was named NCMF secretary for a term of two years last July 9.
He will also serve as NCMF commissioner for a term of four years.
Like Duterte, Pangarungan is a graduate of San Beda College of Law.
Other new appointees are Abdulgani Macatoman, (trade undersecretary), Adrian Ferdinand Sugay (justice undersecretary), Emmeline Villar (justice undersecretary), Markk Perete (justice undersecretary), Neal Vincent Bainto (justice assistant secretary), Roberto Alabado III (tourism assistant secretary), Patricio Bernales Jr., (National Bureau of Investigation director II), Charlo Collado, (deputy director of Bureau of Corrections), Julius Hidalgo (register of deeds III of the Land Registry Authority), and Paterno Morales (director II of the National Bureau of Investigation). –
