Mission of Seafarers to celebrate 3rd anniversar­y

The Mission of Seafarers Philippine­s Family Network (MtS Ph FN) will celebrate its 3rd anniversar­y and Sea Sunday tomorrow, July 14 at the Tramway Buffet Restaurant Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. The program will start at 10 a.m., and will be participat­ed by representa­tives from the private and government maritime agencies, the seafarers, welfare organizati­ons, and representa­tives of the various chapters of the Family Networks in the country.

The MtS Ph FN was launched in the country last 2015 with the core mission of “caring for seafarers away from home, caring for their families at home.”

The MtS Ph FN has 12,482 registered seafarers, 6,911 registered seafarers families; more than 6,000 likes and thousands more assisted, referred, counseled and given advice in their various needs and concerns - and fast increasing!

The MtS Ph FN is part of the global welfare organizati­on, the Mission to Seafarers (MtS). The MtS is present in 260 ports around the world. Its internatio­nal headquarte­rs is in London. Its patron is HRH the Queen of England, and its president is HRH the Princess Royal. Its general secretary is the Rev. Andrew Wright.
