At least 42 persons were arrested for illegal drugs in Metro Manila over the past two days.

Among them is alleged drug dealer Bryan Dudley, who was caught in a drug bust at the corner of University street and Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City at around 3:30 a.m. yesterday.

Around 1.1 kilos of shabu, with a street value of P7.4 million, were confiscated from him.

Dudley was arrested after he allegedly sold 500 grams of shabu for P400,000 to a policeman posing as a buyer, said Chief Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar, director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Another six plastic packs of shabu weighing 600 grams were also in Dudley’s possession.

Eleazar said Dudley was arrested for selling narcotics in April 2016 in Pasay City. However, he was acquitted and was released on July 2.

In Pasay, Jackielyn Reyes, 46, was arrested along with 11 others in a sting yesterday morning.

Fifty-two sachets of shabu, with a street value of P1 million, were seized from Reyes, said Pasay police chief Senior Superintendent Noel Flores.

Police raided Reyes’ house following the sting and caught 11 persons engaged in a drug session. Lawmen also recovered a 9mm pistol.

Reyes is in the city police’s drug watchlist and was previously arrested for illegal drugs. He does not know why she was released.

In San Juan, alleged party drug supplier Ireneo Paraon III was arrested in a sting on Monday.

Paraon was reportedly about to deliver ecstasy tablets and other party drugs to clients in Quezon City after the drug deal, said Senior Superintendent Bowenn Masauding, city police chief.

In Marikina, siblings Ernie Santos, 20; Margie, 23, and Vangie, 43, were arrested in a sting in Barangay Tumana at around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Jobert Geli, 25, and Melody Canalez, 42, were arrested for stealing P65,768 from a fastfood restaurant at the Riverbanks Mall at around 5 p.m. Monday.

The money was recovered from the suspects along with a sachet of shabu, said Marikina police chief Senior Superintendent Roger Quesada.
