-

Profit and take advantage from the government’s renewed thrusts on hybrid public-private partnerships (PPP) by understanding the 24 different ways to structuring your PPP + G2G transactions with the government, the relevant laws, policies, and procedures! To capture the opportunities and take full advantage of the new PPP projects, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a program titled, “Duterte Government’s Revised PPP Program” on Aug. 10, at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

The one-day special training is fully packed with examples, case studies, best practices, and ways to “futureproof” your PPP deals. The lecture is relevant whether you are from the private sector doing the finance, construction, development, operations and management of the PPP project or you are the public official from the National Government Agency, Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation, or the local government unit who is in-charge of PPP. This program aims to arm participants with the right knowledge and skills on how to do business with the government from a national to a local level by understanding the PPP definitions, its modalities, value drivers, relevant laws, policies and procedures vital to the success of your PPP arrangements.

The program will feature one of the two Certified PPP specialist and certified regulation specialist, lawyer Alberto C. Agra. He drafted a proposed PPP code/ordinance for LGUs which to date has been adopted by 81 LGUs.
