Second PTT Run for Clean Energy set Sept. 16

-

A bigger PTT Run for Clean Energy returns for a second year on Sept. 16 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) grounds.

“A highly successful first staging that drew almost 3,000 runners deserves an encore,” said PTT Run for Clean Energy project director Matt Ardina of the organizing Subterranean Ideas Entertainment.

“This is an advocacy run aimed at promoting the call for clean energy in our streets, work and homes, and PTT is a perfect partner in achieving this as its fuels release less black smoke and the emitted exhausts are now nano particles (the tiniest size),” added Ardina.

Backed by PTT Lubricants, Cafe Amazon, Wish 107.5, Chris Sports, Milcu, Leslie’s Corp., Chlo-Relief, Lubie, Coca-Cola, La Filipina, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Maynilad, Herbalife, Vegemore, Science in Sport, Medicard Foundation, Business Mirror and Business Mirror Health and Fitness

Magazine, Village Connect, Philippine School of Business Administration, Mariano Marcos High School Batch ‘91 and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, the run aims to demonstrate the power of collaborative efforts, using sports as one of the main tools, to provide information campaign about the use of clean energy.

Registration is ongoing at Chris Sports branches at SM Manila, SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia. Listup is also accepted an hour before the running of the categories during raceday at the CCP grounds.

Race categories are 10K (P520), 5K (P420) and 3K (P320), all inclusive of race shirt, race bib and giveaways. Top three male and female runners of the 10K and 5K will get cash prizes and medals.

All runners are entitled to win in the raffle of prizes, where smartphones and several gadgets are up for grabs.

Interested runners may call tel. nos. 09186002411 and landline 9759584 for more details.
