Inner Wheel induction
Senator Cynthia Villar will induct elizabeth sison-tagle as District 381 chairman of Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines Inc. for the second time tomorrow at the Luzon Ballroom, Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Pasay City.
Tagle served Inner Wheel Club of Manila, the oldest socio-civic club in Asia as president in 1999 to 2000 and became district chairman in the year 2005 to 2006. In 2016 to 2018 she was elected to served again as president of past president councils for two years.
Her thrusts for IWCPI District 381 for the year are:
• Day care center; breast cancer awareness; Botika sa Bakuran.
• Revival of day care centers where each club shall sponsor a day care center in identified area and to supervise its operations.
• Continuing district thrust specifically addressing a major concern among women in order to save lives.
• Continuing district thrust to provide cost-saving alternative; natural medicine to common illnesses like coughs, colds, headaches, diarrhea from plants grown in the backyard.
Partnership with other organizations:
• Feed the Hungry USA, scholarship program, feeding program, building of classrooms
• Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm training on dragon fruit farming, scholarship program, livelihood program.
• Senate Spouses Foundation Inc., Marawi Operation Paglingap, educational programs.
• Don Bosco Training Vocational Educational Training Center Tondo, scholarship program, livelihood program.
