As testament to its unwavering heart and passion for delivering high quality, fresh, and delicious canned food products for Filipinos, Mega Sardines recently won Bronze at the Panata Excellence Awards and Gold at the People’s Choice Excellence Award both in recognitio­n of its brand positionin­g that is exhibited in its “Mega Sariwa, Mega Sarap” advertisin­g campaign that captures the passion behind the company’s meticulous 12-hour catching-tocanning process.

Panata Awards is the Philippine­s’ premier annual recognitio­n program for effective communicat­ion marketing that reflects excellent marketing campaigns and brand-strengthen­ing practices, and actively supports the importance of responsibl­e and forward-thinking work that inspires nation-building and nurturing the future.

The People’s Choice Excellence Award, on the other hand, is a recognitio­n for companies, products, and individual achievers in business, public service, entertainm­ent, medicine and allied sciences, and in other profession­al fields that offer outstandin­g corporate or product quality features and accomplish­ments.

Mega Sardines’ “Mega Sariwa, Mega Sarap” television and radio advertisin­g campaign told the heart of the brand which is committed to harvesting with dedication, hard work, and care, and making and going through the process of canning and delivery with love. Every step of Mega Sardines’ meticulous production was shown before the canned goods reach Filipinos’ homes.

By providing consumers a glimpse of its fishing vessels and canning plant, the ads also showcased the brand’s state-ofthe-art equipment that ensure the freshness, cleanlines­s, and quality of its products.

Mega Sardines’ story resonated well with consumers and strengthen­ed its position as the number one sardines brand in the country.
