The Art of Guess
Guess USA is a pop culture mainstay — with that famous red triangular logo, its iconic models and the ad campaigns with that distinct Guess style.
Recently, the brand mounted the Art of Guess exhibit, a threeday exposition at Whitespace Manila. Guests received 10-percent discount vouchers that they can use at Guess stores.
The Art of Guess had seven interactive booths: The Denim Jacket exhibit, which featured specially designed jackets spruced up by our country’s talented artists; the Guess Merchandise exhibit, which is a display of iconic pieces over the years; two photo booths that gave guests photos as souvenirs for the night; a giant mural that featured pop-culture icons; a Denim Workshop, which allowed guests to customize tote bags to bring home that night; and one booth showing the exclusively produced Guess fashion film directed by John Lozano.
During the event, graphic designers and illustrators Anna Bautista, Anina Rubio, Alessandra Lanot, Jessica Yang, Monica Magsanoc, Steph Alvarez, Kara Pangilinan, Lee Caces,
Soleil Ignacio and Raxenne Maniquiz re-interpreted the Guess Denim Jacket. While mural artists Archie Oclos, Dee Jae Paeste and Anjo Bolarda painted on huge blank canvasses. The night had music
from Oh, Flamingo!, Keiko Necesario, Carlos Manla,
Louie G., No One’s Home, Kremesoda, Dante and Amigo, Astrokidd and Darren & Cashwell, Lance Cody, Galo Marquez, The Wants, LxJ and She’s Only Sixteen.
