Total PH powers Tagaytay fun ride
TEAM Total racer Des Buncio, 2017 overall Philippine Superbikes Cup champion in the Lightweight A category, recently held a breakfast fun ride to Tagaytay City entitled DEStination with more than a hundred by-invitation-only riders from all over Luzon. She was joined on this momentous activity by no less than sister Jacq Buncio, the 2017 overall Philippine Superbikes Cup champion in the Heavyweight B category, also a member of Team Total with YRS Racing providing support.
The event began with a ridermeet-up at the Total Greenhills station where each participant received gas coupons for Total Excellium to help power their climb to Tagaytay. Before takeoff, Des Buncio led every rider in a simple “safety moment” where everyone had to do a walkaround of their motorcycles, and gear check to ensure a trouble-free and safe ride.
The 100-plus rider contingent stopped over at various scenic places along the way and enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the Total Tagaytay service station where the participants were also treated to surprise raffle prizes and giveaways from various sponsors like Oz Racing, Amaron, Black Mamba, Loctite, Shad, Sec Moto Supply, Bravo, HJC, and The Black Boar.
Des Buncio in her short message to the riders said: “We are very happy to have had the chance to assemble and interact with riders from various clubs, organizations, as well as individuals from all walks of life and from all over Luzon, as well as the opportunity to make new friends and impress upon them the importance of road safety during this ride.”
