“We like to bring our customers to places that are based on popularity and add other places which are new destinations,” said Eugene Goh, Singapore Airlines station manager, Manila. “There are more Filipinos traveling now than there were about five years ago.”

It’s because of the Filipinos’ love of visiting new places that Singapore Airlines (SIA) and SilkAir bring back the “Great Singapore Airlines Getaway” to over 70 places around the globe, topped up with great perks exclusive to MasterCard.

SIA and SilkAir, in partnership with MasterCard, will hold exclusive travel fairs in key cities nationwide. From Sept. 7-9, customers from Metro Manila can get first dibs on great offers and perks by visiting the Grand Atrium of the Shangri La Plaza, Mandaluyong City.

For customers from Cebu and Davao, SilkAir brings the Great Getaway deals to the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu and the Atrium of SM City Davao Ecoland on Sept. 8 to 9.

KrisFlyer members can enjoy an up to 40 percent discount with the pre-purchase of additional baggage allowance online, giving you more space to fill your handcarry with Duty Free treats when you shop during your airport transit. You can also fast track your KrisFlyer membership status with double miles reward for hotel bookings on Agoda.com and car rentals via Rentalcars.com.

Singapore Airlines’ latest addition to its fleet, the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, features fully-flat beds, direct aisle access, adjustable dividers for center aisle seats for more privacy, and an extensive selection of the latest music, movies and TV shows via KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system.

Starting October, customers will also be able to travel in comfort on long-haul flights to the US with the Airbus A350-900 ultra-long range aircraft.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers on board our flights to travel to their dream destinations,” said Balagopal Kunduvara, general manager of Singapore Airlines Philippines. “We are committed to enhancing the three main pillars of our brand promise — Product Leadership, Service Excellence and Network Connectivity — so that our customers can be assured of high standards of service and efficiency both on the ground and in the air.”
