Volkswagen’s local unit is expanding its offering by making available new variants of the Santana and two other vehicle models, the Santana GTS and Lamando, in November.

The automotive firm said it is now accepting reservations for the mid and high-end variants of the Santana model, the Santana GTS 1.5 MPI AT Comfortline, and the Lamando 280 TSI DSG Comfortline and Highline.

The Santana 1.5 MPI AT Trendline and Comfortline variants and the Santana GTS 1.5 MPI AT Comfortline offer more power through the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, in-line MPI gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology which generate maximum power output of 110 Ps at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 150 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

Available in deep black, polar white and reflex silver colors, the Santana 1.5 MPI AT Trendline has an introductory price tag of P898,000, while the Comfortline variant costs P962,000.

For the Santana GTS 1.5 MPIC AT Comfortline which is available in polar white, toffee brown and red rock metallic shades, the introductory price is at P998,000.

For the Lamando 280 TSI DSG Comfortline and Highline variants, both are powered by the 1.4-liter, four-cylinder, inline TSI gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology that generates maximum power of 150 Ps at 5,000 rpm and maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1,750 to 3,000 rpm.

Lamando’s Comfortline variant is available in mangangrey, polar white, coriandolo and dark bronze, and has an introductory price of P1.569 million.

Meanwhile, the Highline variant which is available in mangangrey, polar white and misano red, has an introductory price tag of P1.703 million.

“The special introductory prices of the Santana AT, the Santana GTS and the Lamando are all in line with the celebration of fifth anniversary of Volkswagen Philippines as a member of the Ayala Group of companies this September,” the firm said.

Periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule for the new models is also structured for its owners’ convenience.

The PMS interval is once a year, or every 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
