Pinoys’ access to world-class aesthetic technology
Tritan Ventures, one of the country’s leading distributors of high-end medical aesthetic devices, flew a delegation of 22 medical aesthetic practitioners to Seoul, South Korea, for a training course in the latest technological developments and techniques in the field of medical aesthetics last Sept. 4 to 7.
Led by Dr. Sandy Chris Tan, the members of the delegation visited the facilities of Lutronic Corp. and Classys Corp., two of South Korea’s most prestigious medical aesthetic equipment manufacturers, where they not only received lectures on the latest trends and techniques, but also have hands-on train- ing on the latest equipment for Facial Rejuvenation, Aesthetic Dermatology and Facial & Body Contouring.
Prof. Glen Calderhead, Lutronic’s chief scientific officer, shared the results of his latest research in scar treatments, wound healing, acne treatment and pain management.
The delegation also had individual workshops with two of Korea’s leading medical aesthetic practitioners, Drs. Sung Bin Cho and Bong Cheol Kim, who shared leading practices in pigmentation, melasma and scar treatment.
The visit culminated with a dinner hosted by Tritan Ventures’ CEO Stanley Tan with ambassador to South Korea, Raul Hernandez, as the guest of honor.
The evening ended with a special award given to Dr. Librado Toledo Jr. by Lutronic in recognition of his outstanding support and loyalty to the latter.
