DINING AND DANCING FOR A BIRTHDAY BOY
Tony Boy Dela Rea, the only son of Cipriano Dela Rea de SaulogReyes and Francisca Dela Rea, celebrated his 61st birthday with beloved friends who came from all over the world just to celebrate with him at Chantara Fine Dining of Dusit Thani Manila.
They included former Marinduque Gov. Leandro Palma, New Capitol Estate 1 officers, Cosmopolitan Agency’s Bong Bolivar, beauties Joy Conde, Jane Umali, Maridel Coching and Joyce
Ann Burton, Rep. Winston Castelo and wife Councilor Precious
Hipolito-Castelo and 100 more distinguished personalities.
There was an international buffet and a salad bar with all the healthy greens one could imagine — five-bean salad, feta salad with balsamic gel, Caesar salad, candied-salmon salad, grilled chicken salad with pecan, blue cheese and mustard dressing.
For the mains, guests feasted on lechon, US Angus roast beef with roast rosemary potatoes, beef bourguignon stew, baked seafood in Mornay sauce, coq au vin, puttanesca rigatoni and mashed potato.
Dessert included pistachio apricot crumble, espresso layer cake, mixed berry fruit trifle, dark rum baba, Red Velvet Delight and an assorted fruit platter. Moët & Chandon and Johnny Walker Black Label were served with that incredible dinner. Lia Marie Guerrero hosted the event. To burn all those calories, Savannah Moon dance instructors partnered all night with the guests.
Tony Boy, who looked dashing in Oleg Cassini, rendered a special song number. His hair was done by Henri Calayag.
The party ended way past Cinderella’s bedtime, dahlings.
