Go lauds printing group for innovative practices
Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go has lauded the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP) in their trends for sector. and exploring developments the latest
“I commend the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines for gathering the industry’s stakeholders from all over the country in order to discuss and explore the latest trends and developments within the sector,” he said at the Print Philippines 2018 event last Wednesday. Go attended the event as the guest of honor and later joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony after delivering his message. He also took a tour of the exhibit hall to view machinery from the various printing companies that were on display.
“As long as printing companies are stable and booming in the Philippines, employment in the country is also increasing,” Go said.
He added that President Duterte “recognizes the vital role that printing companies and the rest of the business sector play in the development of our country.” Go is hopeful that similar events would lead to more investments for the country. In his hometown of Davao, Go’s family has been part of the printing industry for several decades, with his grandfather, Roman Tesoro, being one of the pioneers in the city.
