Go lauds printing group for innovative practices

Special Assistant to the President Christophe­r “Bong” Go has lauded the Printing Industries Associatio­n of the Philippine­s (PIAP) in their trends for sector. and exploring developmen­ts the latest

“I commend the Printing Industries Associatio­n of the Philippine­s for gathering the industry’s stakeholde­rs from all over the country in order to discuss and explore the latest trends and developmen­ts within the sector,” he said at the Print Philippine­s 2018 event last Wednesday. Print Philippine­s 2018 is the in the annual country premier organized print technology by the PIAP. event

Go attended the event as the guest of honor and later joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony after delivering his message. He also took a tour of the exhibit hall to view machinery from the various printing companies that were on display.

“As long as printing companies are stable and booming in the Philippine­s, employment in the country is also increasing,” Go said.

He added that President Duterte “recognizes the vital role that printing companies and the rest of the business sector play in the developmen­t of our country.” Go is hopeful that similar events would lead to more investment­s for the country. In his hometown of Davao, Go’s family has been part of the printing industry for several decades, with his grandfathe­r, Roman Tesoro, being one of the pioneers in the city.
