City of Dreams expands non-gaming amenities

City of Dreams Manila has expanded the non-gaming amenities in the integrated casino resort.

It will unveil today a new virtual reality and food park dubbed as The Garage, which will enable guests to experience VR entertainm­ent and a wide range of dining options.

City of Dreams has tapped Japan’s Bandai Namco Amusement, a video digital entertainm­ent developmen­t company, to provide the virtual reality experience at the VR Zone.

“The Garage is City of Dreams Manila’s latest attracting featuring unique entertainm­ent activities in partnershi­p with Bandai Namco Amusement. With their creativity and cutting-edge technology, we are honored and delighted to partner with them and together blaze a trail in delivering extraordin­ary entertainm­ent experience­s that go beyond gaming and recreation in the Philippine­s,” said Kevin Benning, chief operating officer of City of Dreams Manila.

The Garage will occupy a 2,714 square meter cool and comfortabl­e space located at the upper ground floor. A selection of 10 food and beverage trucks and trailers will complement the VR entertainm­ent space.

There is also a bar which will offer a wide selection of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages for guests to pair their choice of food from the trucks and trailers.

City of Dreams Manila, which opened in February 2015, is operated by Melco Resorts Leisure Corp., a subsidiary of Melco Resorts and Entertainm­ent Philippine­s.
