First international outlet mall in Phl set to open next week

-

Excitement is definitely building up for the opening of the country’s first true international outlet mall along Km 48, Aguinaldo Highway in Silang, Cavite.

“Acienda Designer Outlet is ready to welcome shoppers and tourists everyday starting with our opening on Oct. 26,” said Jeffrey Ng, president of local developer Cathay Land.

The project is expected to draw thousands of shoppers daily since all participating brands offer a minimum of 30 percent to as high as 80 percent discount, bargains which are definitely welcome given the high inflation and less spending power local shoppers have been experiencing lately.

“While the hefty discounts in fashion, sportswear and jewelry will surely attract people given the current inflationary climate, eventually we hope that the perfect mix of brands and leisure amenities on site will entice many to become repeat shoppers,” Ng said.

Some of the lifestyle brands that are opening include: Archive, Geox, Reef, Sunglass Haven, 158 Designer’s Boulevard of SSI Group, Levi’s, Oakley, Just Jewels, Mango, Guess, Mossimo, The Rail, Kid’s Depot and RSI, which carries Florsheim and Naturalizer.

Sports and shoe brands geared towards fitness buffs include Asics, Onitsuka, Vans, Oregon Premium Outlet Store/Nike and Skechers.

Ng said that over the next few months, a wide range of other top international brands will be added, further adding to Acienda Designer Outlet’s standing as the country’s first true international outlet mall.

Meawhile, shoppers will get to relax in between shopping rounds via a detour at Wine Bank, Pizza Warehouse, Cold Stone and Café Passcuci. These will all be conveniently located in the French-style food and beverage section accented by a three-story windmill.

“With the cool year-round weather and the regular influx of tourists that we expect to drop by on their way to or as they go down from Tagaytay City, Acienda Designer Outlet will be a fun, hip place to shop around,” said Jayden Lewis, head of leasing for Asia of Freeport Retail, Cathay land’s foreign partner for Acienda Designer Outlet.
