7-Eleven opens 1st Isabela outlet
In a bid to widen its franchise operations in Region 2, Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the exclusive local licensor of global convenience store chain brand 7-Eleven opened a new franchise store in Isabela Province.
Owned and operated by Atty. Crisanto Mora, the new 7-Eleven outlet which is located along the National Highway in Cauayan City, is expected to cater to students of nearby schools, residents located within the vicinity and most specially travellers, tourists and commuters traversing the national highway going to Tuguegarao, Cagayan Valley.
According to Ulysses Borral, PSC business development division head, the opening is a significant boost to PSC’s planned expansion in Region 2. Seeking to expand footprint to service emerging markets in the province, PSC is keenly looking into potential locations specifically its key municipalities such as Cordon, Alicia and Echague, among others.
Apart from Isabela, other areas up for expansion in Region 2 are Tuguegarao and Nueva Vizcaya. Currently, 7-Eleven total store network is at 2,425 (1,295 franchise stores and 1,130 corporate-owned) giving PSC a franchise ratio of more than 50 percent.
