Rody doesn’t mind being spat on by beautiful women

Others regard being spat on as a grave insult, but President Duterte doesn’t mind it. That is if he is found lying and if it is done to him by a beautiful woman.

Speaking during the 39th Masskara Festival in Bacolod City last Saturday, Duterte said he does not sign anything that has something to do with money and does not collect any monetary compensation aside from his monthly salary.

He said anyone is free to verify his claims.

“I am telling you the truth and you can check. And if you see anything that is contrary to what I am saying now, I’ll give you that right. You can spit on my face,” Duterte said.

The President went on to say that he was willing to take the saliva of beautiful women.

“That is my guarantee. Bastusin mo na ako pero ‘pag babae ka na maganda at dinuraan mo ako, ‘yung laway mo kunin ko (Disrespect me. But if you are a beautiful woman and you spit on me, I will take your saliva),” he said.

Towards the end of his speech, the President made light of his kissing of female supporters, even declaring that he would not kiss what he described as his “ugly” critics.

“Hindi lang ninyo alam, loka-loka, kasi mga pangit kayo. Pati ’yung ngipin ninyo malalaki. Hindi ako maghalik sa inyo (You do not know, fools, because you are ugly. Your teeth are large. I won’t kiss you),” Duterte said.

“Pero kung maghalik ’yung babae kunin ’yung laway ilagay ko sa dila ko, lapitan ko sabi ko, ‘Isauli ko sa iyo ang laway mo dagdagan ko ng akin dahil maganda ka’ (But if I kiss a woman, I will get her saliva, place it on my tongue and tell her ‘I will return to you your saliva and add mine because you are beautiful’),” he added.

Duterte, who has been criticized for his remarks that were widely seen as sexist, admitted that his statement would anger women’s groups.

“The women in Manila, they call me misogynist. Perhaps you don’t remember... I’m the only President – when I was mayor, I was a hostage victim,” the President said, claiming he allowed himself to be held hostage to save kidnap victims and a female Australian missionary.
