matteo, Carlo together in concert
Carlo Aquino and Matteo Guidicelli topbill a one-night-only show dubbed MatteoXCarlo on Nov. 17 at the Music Museum.
Both notable actors make an interesting combination with their opposite personalities and distinct brands of music. Carlo is also quiet and mysterious, while Matteo is outgoing and friendly.
“(The show) will have medleys and solo performances. The music fusion will be very exciting for both of them. We will mix up their songs in a way that they will make each song their own and at the same time sing it solo and together,” explained Hills & Dreams concert producer Vernice Soyangco.
After having staged three successful solo concerts and being part of an ensemble, Matteo described MatteoXCarlo as a “blank page” ready to be worked on.
Carlo, fresh from the success of his film Exes Baggage, is poised to return to the performing and music scene, and the concert serves as the opening salvo.
Special guests can also be expected. But for now, the two Kapamilya heartthrobs are hoping that the audience who will see their show can imbibe the same passion they have for music.
