A very merry winterland Christmas at SM Mall of Asia
It was a very Merry Winterland Christmas at SM Mall of Asia recently. There was a performance by the Nata Air from Ukraine, the lighting of the 50-foot giant Christmas Tree, and a giftgiving activity for kids.
The Nata Air Aerialists dazzled the audience with their aerial bubble sphere acrobats in breathtaking moves.
As is the mall’s tradition, the event included a tree lighting ceremony of the 50-foot Christmas tree is designed with over 500 ornaments and embellished with LED snowflakes, cinnamon sticks, Christmas balls in white, red, blue and silver, giant snow balls, melting snow.
The MOA magical friends Leo the lion, Ellie the elephant, Cyril the squirrel, Benny the Bunny, Hannah the Panda, Hailey the hippo, Macky the monkey and Gerry the giraffe also joined in the festivities.
SM also launched its Christmas Bears of Joy for the benefit of its chosen beneficiary, Kanlungan ni Elma. Every P200 purchase at any SM branch, entitles one to a pair of SM Bears of Joy, one of those goes to the foundation.
The merrymaking continues as Santa and his MOA magical friends meet and greet kids this holiday season at the Mall of Asia Atrium. Kids can whisper their Christmas wishes as they sit on Santa’s lap or they can also write down and send their list at the Santa Mail.
Mall goers will also be in for a special surprise as they take seflies and instastories with our giant Santa at the North Bridgeway until Jan. 4, 2019.
